Yesterday, Jan signed the Flight Readiness Review to confirm the functionality and safety of the FLOMESS Module. Now we are T-1h on the countdown clock. The launching alarm is currently sounding. Manu and Martin are ready in the Ground Control Station to guarantee a nominal flight. We have perfect weather conditions here on Esrange at -12°C. FLOMESS is on Go and ready for Lift-Off!
We are now entering the hot phase of the REXUS 25 Launch Campaign. Today is the test countdown under real launching conditions and tomorrow the FLOMESS module will have the chance to touch the edge of space at a height of estimated 79,15 km.
