The REXUS program (Rocket-EXperiments for University Students) offers students the oppertunity to conduct experiments on a rocket. The students get to learn about the entire process leading to the completion of a space mission, which begins with the project idea and a planning process and is finalized with the publishment of the results. The participants follow a schedule with predetermined objectives. The project duration for a REXUS experiment is about 18 months, during which the progress of the experiment developement is being checked in project reviews.
